5am start.. left our hut in Shingwedzi at 6am to start the drive back down to Malelane gate. Stopped at Mopani for breakfast and to fill up with petrol before carrying on. Didn't really see any animals on the journey until we were at least half way through if not more.. there were lots of cars pulled up so we knew it was going to be something big.. was only when they came out of the bush right next to the car that we saw 4 leopards!! they were heading to the other side of the road where a herd of Zebra were just chilling. we saw the leopards start to stalk them and try and split up the group of zebra deciding which one they wanted, until they all run off into the distance.
Just to put it into perspective of how lucky we were, Kruger park is bigger than Wales! and some people can go there year after year and don't see half of what we saw, especially leopards. and we got to see four! it was such an amazing experience, the pictures just don't do it justice.
After we left the Kruger we had a 5hr journey to Jo'berg to stay with one of johnny friends, Jimmy a welshman!
now we are getting an early night and a lie in! so will update again soon :)
