LIE IN!!!! 8.45am start..
Up in time to make bacon & eggs for breakfast and lets
just say with an electric cooker me or Charlie cant make eggs! Embarrassing
really but it was a bundle of laughs sitting down to eat our
scrambled/omelette/fried eggs..
We then headed out for a drive, headed north on the main
Kruger road but turned off onto dirt tracks to do a massive loop back to the
camp! We didn’t really have much luck today spotting new animals but we did see
a lot of elephants!! We saw one all on his own having a mud bath! Was so cool
to watch!
On our way back to the camp we stopped at a couple of hides.
We didn’t see much, there were a few hippos. And then the second hide we saw 3
massive crocodiles!! Was awesome, you could see all their scales and teeth
through Johnny’s’ binoculars.
Once back to camp, we cracked open the beers and started the
Braii again. This time steak was on the menu. Yum yum…. It was so good. We also
had boerwrs (SA sausages…) also lovely.
Discovered that we don’t like mustard lol we also opened a bottle of SA
finest red wine. Went down lovely with the steak. After dinner, we all went to
bed early again…. Ready for another early morning of game spotting…
